Casandra Calo will explain how to create images for responsive web sites, based on Christopher Schmidtt’s book “Designing Web & Mobile Graphics”. She will set up a fluid layout and demonstrate how to make images responsive so that they work on mobile, tablet and desktop versions of the same site. She will cover exporting SVG images from Illustrator, raster images from Photoshop, pixel precision, compression, transparency, image masking, adapting to media queries and aligning images.
About the presenter
Casandra Calo studied graphic design at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has extensive experience in print design. She currently works in a print shop doing the design, layout, and prepress preparation of files as well as the actual printing and finishing work. She also designs web sites using Adobe products.
