One of the keys to producing an accessible web site is understanding the needs of your audience and team members. In this interactive discussion, we will start by targeting some of the needs of people who have vision, mobility, hearing and / or cognitive challenges. We will then contrast two testing techniques. And finally, we will match the testing technique to each position on the development and maintenance teams.

About the Presenter
Hiram Kuykendall, CTO, MicroAssist, has over 20 years of development experience on a wide variety of development platforms and also serves as a leader in the E-Learning industry. Accessibility is a passion for Hiram and he openly shares his knowledge with the development community. Most recently, Hiram served as the training chair for the Knowbility 2012 Open AIR contest and can be heard hosting the Knowbility AccessU channel on iTunes.
