You are invited to join us online on Thursday, June 11th, 6 pm CST, for the FREE monthly Austin Adobe User Group meeting. Jon Merrifield will demonstrate new operational workflows in Premiere Pro 2026. Included are entirely new vector masking tools and implementations. Adobe had changed how masking overall works with the Object Mask Tool and the new Vector Masking tools found in toolbar. It is a completely new operational workflow and some instruction is only going too help. Premiere Pro 26.0 also introduces redesigned Rectangle, Ellipse, and Pen mask tools that make it easier to draw and refine precise masks. You now get better rounded‑corner control, constrained straight lines, and the ability to adjust masks both visually and numerically. Because masking is used everywhere—from color grading to plugins that add glows, glitches, or text reveals—these improvements ripple through your entire effects and Premiere Pro plugins stack and this will be a comprehensive overview.
