Donna Blumberg, Rest in Peace

There is sad news to report about the passing of Donna Blumberg on June 20th, 2020.

Donna took charge of our Austin Adobe User Group and, along with co-manager Cornelius Chopin, provided strong and dedicated leadership for the past eight years. She’d make everyone feel welcome. She always managed to find good presenters and interesting topics for our live meetings, announce meetings in a timely fashion, and get them recorded and archived on https://austinadobeusergroup.com. She cultivated a core of volunteers to help manage the user group, and she made many people happy by managing the raffle for prized Adobe swag as well as Adobe Cloud annual subscriptions. When the meetings were moved from Friday afternoons to Thursday evenings, she’d order pizza and make sure everyone was fed.

Only recently did she let us know she had to step down for health reasons. We will remember her during the user group meeting next Thursday, July 9th, on Zoom. She will be missed.

May her memory be a blessing.
