3D Modeling using Blender and Photoshop

This month via Zoom, Kenneth Loebenberg will be going over something special. He will be doing a overview of how to sculpt in the 3D modeling program Blender, from how to do basic shapes to sculpting and recurring using Photoshop. Blender is the free and open-source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, video editing, and 2D animation pipeline. Also, as part of this program, Austin Adobe User Group will be raffling one of our big prizes: a year-long subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud. Must be present to win and have filled out our attendee registration form at the time of the meeting.

Kenneth Loebenberg is a creative projects manager and master graphic artist. He has more than a decade of experience developing an array of products for wall decor as well as technical skills to maximize efficiency in a production environment. He also creates marketing materials and digital interfaces. He served as co-manager of another Abode User Group until last month and is has frequently shared his expertise as a Photoshop instructor and an industry advisor for a community college and for another Adobe User Group where he also had served as a co-manager.

In the presentation, Kenneth recommended an affordable drawing tablet. The link to it is
