September 2026 – Getting Started with Premiere, Part 2.
After we take off the month of August, you are invited to join us online on Thursday, September 10th, 6 pm CST, for the FREE monthly Austin Adobe User Group meeting. Again, by popular demand, Jon Merrifield will offer an even MORE basic beginner's guide to getting started using Premiere. This will include how to import media into the program. Jon’s demonstration will offer a comprehensive dive into some video editing concepts and will show how to get started using Adobe Premiere to meet your video editing needs. Files will be provided for you to use in creating a video edit from start to finish, so you can build a video sequence on your own time after this lesson.
Adobe Premiere provides a comprehensive, multi-track timeline to combine video footage, audio, graphics, and special effects into a finished, professional project. We figured it was a good time to present the basics needed to begin working with the app.
