Thank You, Dear Friend
Our long-time group leader Donna Blumberg has announced she is stepping down as Co-Manager due to health issues. We would like to thank her for all of years of service and dedication to AAUG and hope to make her proud in our future endeavors.
Kenneth Loebenberg, a frequent presenter and member, will step into the Co-Manager position. Kenneth was also previously Co-Manager of the Mississippi Adobe User Group. T He’ll team up with long-time Co-Manager Cornelius Chopin, the Austin Adobe User Group will continue to offer regular free programs to our members and to invite the public to join the group for free.
Meeting Changes
Because of the current situation with Covid-19, we are temporarily moving all meetings online. We are also going to be streaming all meetings to Facebook (as well as Adobe Connect) going forward to make sure more people can watch and share our meetings.
Future meetings will also be shorter. The length of the lessons will now be 45 minutes followed by Q&A. We hope this will make it easier to encourage presenters who are not used to public speaking.
Meetings times may change as well. We are going to put up a poll to gauge member interest in moving the time and day of the meetings. We want to make it as easy as possible for more people to attend and teach.
