Mockups are used for visualization of design solutions, and are commonly used for all kinds of print publications, packaging, web-sites, phone apps, and more. The purpose is generally to create a model to preview, evaluate, and test-flight designs and solutions, and acquire feedback from user before the actual implementation.
The Creative Cloud has several tools suitable for creating mockups, and we will cover different techniques and approaches, including the use of some of the ready-made templates that ship with CC.
Though there are specialized tools that include 3D modelling , interactivity, and animations, this presentation will focus on the combination of standard features available in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Since this is an evening meeting, we’ll have pizza available.
