Adobe Digital Publishing Suite is a complete solution that lets media and business publishers create, distribute, monetize and optimize publications for mobile devices. DPS consists of a set of tools, applications and services that together form a complete work flow that takes you from content assembly, creative design, testing, validating and publishing interactive magazine apps. Platforms supported include iOS, Windows 8.1, and Android.
The creative process takes place in InDesign. The DPS tools are an integrated part of InDesign, and no additional licenses are necessary for authoring, designing, testing, and sharing apps. DPS leverages the unsurpassed design and productivity features of InDesign, and allows the users to repurpose contents from print publications, adding media rich content and interaction – as well as designing interactive apps from the ground up. When you’re ready to publish your apps online, you’ll typically need additional licenses, both with Adobe, as well as with the various online shops, like App Store, Play Store, and Windows Store.
The presentation will focus on the creative process up to and including local and online testing of apps, and sharing of apps in progress. Attendees who have an email address connected to their Adobe ID, will in fact be able to download and test drive the app that’ll be created during the presentation.
