Ever wonder what is under the hood in After Effects? Well, wonder no longer. Jacob Stone will present and describe the overall basics of After Effects to get you started with animating and creating basic motion graphics in no time. In this presentation, he will cover the interface, layers, keyframes, how to create and animate shapes, how to create and animate text, how to import assets, and how to create fire. There will be a practice file with everything in the presentation so you can follow along if you bring a laptop

About the presenter:

Jacob Stone, www.phantom6productions.com/ has been doing professional video production since 2010 and has been working with Instructional Design since 2011. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications Media with a track in Video and Television Production and a Masters of Fine Arts in Adult Education and Community Technology. He has worked with After effects on various projects creating motion graphics for different clients and VFX for short, independent films.
